(Passaic, NJ) St. Mary’s General Hospital in Passaic, received the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine today, and began vaccinating its first 100 frontline employees and physicians who work for the hospital. The vaccine arrived with much relief and excitement from the Passaic hospital which was hit hard during the first wave in the spring, losing three employees to the virus. The hospital will inoculate all employees who wish to receive the vaccine, projecting at least a third of the workforce to be vaccinated by the end of the year. With over 1600 employees and medical staff, St. Mary’s General is one of Passaic County’s largest employers.
